Numbers more important than emotions
Robert Nowicki joined Forum Sovereignty in March 2019. He came to us from the financial audit sector, where for 4 years he checked documents in transport and construction companies. In our company, he deals exclusively with hard data. When partners argue about money, Robert opens a spreadsheet and shows exactly where capital is leaking. He is not interested in personal animosities or who first raised their voice during a board meeting. Facts count, not emotions.
His work starts with a thorough screening of the current company agreement. Robert uses an original 23-step method to find financial loopholes that can become the seed of conflict. Recently, in a furniture industry company near Warsaw, he detected an error in dividend calculation that cost a minority shareholder 14.3 thousand PLN quarterly. Thanks to his calculations, mediation lasted only two sessions of 3 hours each. We repair the share structure in such a way that every partner knows where they stand.
Robert prepares reports that are clear for everyone, even if you don't have an economic education. He doesn't use difficult jargon intended only to impress. He writes briefly and specifically: how much the company earns, how much it loses on the ongoing dispute, and what the real profit distribution options are. He delivers most such analyses within 4 business days. This is a solid basis for talks at the table that cuts unnecessary discussions about guesswork.
He often repeats that clear 50/50 rules are a popular error that in practice rarely ensures company stability. Instead, he proposes solutions based on actual work contribution and capital. In 2023, he conducted 31 analyses for local limited liability companies. In 26 cases, his data allowed avoiding a costly court lawsuit. This is a real time-saver for every entrepreneur who wants to grow a business, and not waste time in court waiting rooms.
He is sometimes direct, which is necessary in this industry. He will say straight out if your company structure is flawed and threatens total decision-making paralysis. Such honesty is needed for business to move forward. Last month he helped save cooperation in a small printing house, where a conflict between three partners had lasted for 9 months. A comparison of numbers was enough for both sides to understand that further dispute is the shortest path to bankruptcy. We act without going to court because mathematics usually suggests a better solution.
In the office at Pileckiego Street 63, he is rarely seen without three monitors open at once (this is his favorite way of working). If you need solid arguments before a difficult talk with an investor, Robert will prepare them for you in the form of black-and-white facts. Thanks to his support, our clients regain control over their investments and can focus on work again. Everything takes place discretely and with respect for your time.
